Telstar has worked with a number of Housing Associations and RSL's across the country to install a variety of technological adaptations to improve the lives and environments in which their residents live.
Anti-social behaviour, vandalism, theft and violence are now commonplace on the streets and within communities up and down the country. These increased security fears particularly for those tenants in Sheltered Accommodation have prompted a rapid increase in the demand for Access and Door Security and the installation of CCTV.
In addition, Telstar are specialists in upgrading and installing Communal Aerial Systems and as an approved Fusion21 contractor is currently involved in the management and implementation of the UK Digital switchover.
To date, Telstar is responsible for installing and upgrading over 20,000 successful IRS installations with the resulting accumulation of experience and knowledge being second to none.

Of all the sectors in which Telstar operates it is perhaps this one that offers the greatest challenge. The diversity of housing stock, technical requirements and physical location all play their part. However it is the interaction with the residents that offers the greatest challenge.
Telstar has considerable knowledge and experience in dealing with these vulnerable members of society. By working in partnership with housing officers and residents alike, Telstar aims is to ensure that its installations are carried out as efficiently as possible and with the least amount of disruption.
